Ar. Darshan Trivedi
Principal Architect, Saan Architects
Ar. Darshan Trivedi is the founder and Principal Architect of Saan Architects, a practice established in 2025 for sustainable architecture and interior design. With master’s-level training in design, he begins every commission by understanding the client’s requirements, the site and the local climate.
His practice is distinguished by a mastery of conceptual development and biophilic minimal architecture: spaces that are refined in form, restrained in materials and closely connected with light, greenery and the natural environment.

A young studio with a clear way of working.
Saan Architects is an architecture and interior design studio started in 2025 and led by a designer with master’s-level training. We take on a limited number of projects at a time, so the person you meet at the first conversation is the one who draws your plans and visits your site.
We begin with how you will live or work in the space, the plot, the climate and your budget. Then we design the simplest building that does all of that well, with good daylight, natural ventilation, trees and materials that age gracefully.

01 / FOUNDATION
Rooted in the site.
Every design starts with the plot: sun path, wind, soil, trees and views. The base is shaped by what the land already offers.
02 / GROUND FLOOR
Open to light.
Living spaces open to a garden through glass and shaded edges, so daylight and cross ventilation do most of the work.
03 / UPPER FLOOR
Layered with warmth.
Timber louvres filter heat and glare while keeping privacy. Bedrooms and studies sit quietly above the activity below.
04 / ROOF
Crowned for the climate.
A deep overhang shades the walls, drains the monsoon and is ready for solar panels and rainwater harvesting.

How much do your services cost?
Fees depend on project size and scope. After the first meeting we send a written proposal with a clear fee for each stage.
How long does a house design take?
Concept takes about three to four weeks. Full working drawings usually take another six to eight, depending on how quickly decisions are made.
Can you handle the municipal approvals?
Yes. We prepare and submit the drawings and follow up until sanction is issued.
Do you work on renovations?
Yes, from single rooms to full remodels and extensions, after an assessment of the existing structure.
Will you supervise construction?
You can choose design only, periodic site visits or full project management.
